01 / New to Funding traders

What is VFUNDED?01

VFUNDED is a simulated trading evaluation program. You trade in a fully simulated environment using Virtual Funds, so no real money is placed in any market on your behalf, and no brokerage services are provided. If you meet the program objectives, you may become eligible to request a Performance Reward, which is a commercial payment based on your simulated results. Your Challenge Fee is the fee for access to the evaluation — it is not a deposit.

What Challenge types does VFUNDED offer?02

VFUNDED offers four products: Sprint (one phase, static drawdown), Classic (two phases, static drawdown), Ascend (three phases, static drawdown), and Edge (instant funded access, trailing drawdown). Each has its own profit targets, drawdown limits, reward split, and minimum Trading Day requirements.

How does the evaluation program work?03

Choose your Challenge, complete the purchase, and begin trading in your simulated account. Reach the relevant closed-trade profit target, stay within the risk limits, complete the minimum Trading Days, and satisfy the Trading Consistency Requirement. After the required phases, VFunded carries out a compliance review before issuing or activating a Simulated Funded Account.

Who can join?04

The program is for people aged 18 or over, or the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction if higher, who can legally enter a contract. Services are not available everywhere. Eligibility and identity checks may be requested before or after purchase, funded-stage activation, or a Performance Reward.

02 / Evaluation process

What do I need to do to pass a phase?05

Reach the profit target on closed trades, complete the minimum Trading Days, satisfy the Trading Consistency Requirement, and remain within both drawdown limits. All positions must be closed before review, and pending orders are cancelled.

What are the profit targets?06

Sprint requires 10% in one phase. Classic requires 8% in Phase 1 and 5% in Phase 2. Ascend requires 5% in each of three phases. Edge has no evaluation profit target because it provides direct funded access. Only closed trades count.

What counts as a Trading Day?07

A Trading Day is any calendar day on which at least one trade is opened or closed. Keeping a position open without opening or closing anything that day does not count.

What is the Trading Consistency Requirement?08

The requirement applies to every evaluation phase and Reward period. You need at least four Trading Days in each evaluation phase and at least five in each Reward period on a funded account (ten on Edge). No single day’s closed profit may represent more than 30% of total Closed Net Simulated Profit for that phase or Reward period.

03 / Drawdown & risk limits

How does the daily drawdown work?09

The Daily Drawdown Limit is based on the Starting Day Balance at 00:00 server time and is monitored using Floating Equity, including realized and unrealized P&L, swaps, and commissions. Touching or falling below the limit closes the account permanently.

How does the maximum drawdown work?10

Sprint, Classic, and Ascend use static maximum drawdown based on Initial Simulated Capital. Edge uses trailing maximum drawdown: the floor rises when the account reaches a new High-Water Mark and does not move back down.

What trading platform does VFUNDED offer?11

VFUNDED uses the MatchTrade platform for simulated trading. After purchase, access details for the simulated account are provided through the platform or by email. MatchTrade supports web and mobile environments subject to account and device availability.

Do drawdown limits still apply overnight and over the weekend?12

Yes. Drawdown limits apply continuously, including weekends and public holidays. Swap charges and market gaps can affect Floating Equity while positions remain open.

04 / Funded phase & performance rewards

When can I request a Performance Reward?13

A Reward Request requires an account in Good Standing, at least seven calendar days since the first funded trade, at least USD 100 in Closed Net Simulated Profit, five Trading Days in the Reward period (ten on Edge), closed positions, no pending orders, completed KYC, no active review, and a satisfied Trading Consistency Requirement.

What is the Performance Reward split?14

Reward splits vary by program: Sprint 85%, Classic 80%, Ascend 90%, and Edge 80%. Rewards are calculated on Closed Net Simulated Profit from closed trades only. Open positions and unrealized P&L are excluded.

How often can I request a payout?15

The standard limit is one Reward Request per calendar week unless the Platform states otherwise. Approved requests are normally processed within one to five business days, subject to payment-provider and compliance checks.

What is KYC and when is it required?16

KYC verifies identity and eligibility for funded-stage access and Performance Rewards. It may require government-issued ID, proof of address dated within 180 days, and additional documents reasonably requested for compliance or account security.

05 / Refunds, resets & account rules

Can I get a refund or dispute a payment?17

A refund is available only when requested within seven calendar days of purchase, no Simulated Trade has been executed on the Challenge Account, and the account is not restricted. Refund eligibility ends when the first Simulated Trade is executed.

Can I reset or retry a failed challenge?18

Where offered, a Reset or Retry is a separate purchase governed by the terms and fee shown at that time. It may be refundable only within the Refund Window and before any Simulated Trade is executed on that account.

Can I hold multiple Challenges or Accounts?19

One person may hold multiple Challenge purchases but may not use multiple accounts to bypass rules, create offsetting exposure, or coordinate trading. Total funded-stage capital is capped at $400K per trader under the published rules.

What is the inactivity rule?20

Accounts have a 30-day inactivity limit. Challenge Accounts are deactivated after 30 consecutive calendar days without a trade being opened or closed. Simulated Funded Accounts may also be deactivated under the published reactivation conditions.

06 / Trading conditions

Can I hold positions overnight or over the weekend?21

Yes. Positions may be held overnight and over the weekend. Drawdown limits remain active and swap charges may apply depending on the instrument and rollover structure.

Is news trading allowed?22

Yes, although restrictions may apply around high-impact events when market conditions require them. Any active restriction is shown in the dashboard or communicated through the Platform.

Are EAs, VPSs, VPNs, or automated strategies allowed?23

Expert Advisors and other automated systems are allowed when they comply with the Challenge Rules, are lawfully used by you, and are not part of a challenge-passing, account-sharing, or coordinated-trading service. VPS, VPN, and multiple-device use may be reviewed for account security.

Is copy trading or account sharing allowed?24

No. Copy trading from external sources, credential sharing, trading on another person’s behalf, and coordinated trading intended to bypass program rules are prohibited unless VFunded has expressly approved another arrangement in writing.
