Daily loss limit
Set once a day at 00:00 server time from the Starting Day Balance, the closed balance after swaps. Daily floor = Starting Day Balance × (1 − daily %). It is checked against floating equity, so open trades count.
Equity floor
Sprint, Classic and Ascend use a static floor: Initial capital × (1 − max %). It never moves. Edge uses a trailing floor: Highest equity − Initial capital × 5%. It rises with every new high and never moves down.
What you can lose today
Whichever floor is higher binds. The calculator takes the higher of the two and shows the distance from today's starting balance.
The 30% consistency rule
No single Trading Day's closed profit may be more than 30% of the total closed profit for the phase or reward period. On a $50,000 Sprint the target is $5,000, so the best day can hold $1,500 at most if you finish exactly on target.
That has a practical consequence: you need at least four profitable days. Three days at the 30% ceiling add up to only 90% of the total.
Trading Days
A Trading Day is any calendar day on which you open or close at least one trade. Holding a position through a day does not count. Every evaluation phase needs at least four. Every reward period on a funded account needs at least five, or ten on Edge, and days from the evaluation do not count.
All numbers come from the VFUNDED Challenge Rules (sections 3.3, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4 and 7.9). The calculator is an illustration of the rules, not financial advice. VFUNDED provides simulated trading evaluations; trading activity is simulated and rewards are not guaranteed.
